Merchant Mike Tutorials Step 3 Getting Traffic to your Website

There are many ways to get traffic to your site, but first you have to focus on posting lots of quality content. Posting once or twice a day is preferred to keep your viewers interested. Once you have good content the next hurdle is getting your website seen. I have used many ways to get my website seen such as:

Facebook
I have gained lots of traffic to my website in two ways using facebook. 1st is by posting your blog content on your facebook for all your friends to see. 2nd is to join the various business facebook groups and post your blog content there. After you read this post I will provide a list of 50+ Facebook Business groups you can join just email me at mzabad@graphic-designer.com . I will then reply to your email with the list of Facebook Business groups I use.

Addurl
At addurl.nu - (this will redirect you to Addurl) you can add your website to a registry. All you need to do is fill out the form and you will be notified within 24 hours if your website is approved for your registry. It is recommended to put in a backlink but you can just use your website url. Also remember to add the link they specify to your homepage or index page in order to be approved.

Fiverr
Fiverr.com has many gigs you can choose from that will add you to a list of facebook groups, twitter, and on stumbleupon. There are also gigs that will ping your website. Pinging affects the rate at which your website will turn up in search engines and is very useful.

Craiglist
At craiglist you can list your website and it's service for many to see. The only downside I see here is that you will have to make a post for each of the states in USA. I haven't yet found a way to make a single post that will show on all the states in USA.

Pingler
At pingler, you can add your website to be pinged. This means it will more likely show up on search englines like google. You can even sign up for 25 urls at $2.99 /month and your website will be pinged every 3 days!

And there you have it! I will add more ways to get traffic as I discover them so stay tuned! Remember to sign up under my Express My Cash Freebies link to earn money online and recieve a list of 50+ Facebook Business groups where you can post your website!

Online Seller Tutorials Step 2 Making Your Website

Once you have got your product inventory filled or service ready to distribute, you need to get it out there. One of the best ways to get your word out their is through your very own website! Your website is your middle man between you and your product and service. It also is your link between your social media and other sites where you advertise. It's always best to have a website because if the other sites where you post are down you won't have anyway for your customers to even see your product!

I will be reviewing free ways to make a website.

FREE Website
- Eblogger and Wordpress (these links will direct you to eblogger and Wordpress)are great ways to get a blog up and running for free. Designing your blog is made easy with their layout and template customization. Eblogger provides widgets to post your ads and if you are savy with code you can edit the HTML. As I primarily use eblogger, I don't know much about Wordpress except that it provides a lot of freedom in how you can design your blog.

Now get some content posted and stay tuned for Step 3 Getting Traffic to your Websites! If you have any comments or questions let me know below! Thank you for reading!

The first step to becoming an Online Seller?

 photo BlogStep1GettingStarted_zps92a5c74c.jpg
How do you start off becoming an Online Seller when you have no money? Easy! Just find a bunch of stuff around your house that you don't need anymore! You'd be surprised how much money your junk can sell for. As a college student I sold my text books on Amazon. DO NOT sell them back to your school bookstore. You will get less for them. You can also ask your fellow classmates or family members for any textbooks they don't want anymore. I also sold the dvd's I wasn't watching anymore. DVDs of tv series are particularly popular on Amazon.

Once you get enough money then you can start buying things wholesale! Research is key to finding out what items are in demand. Is it the holiday season? Time to sell decorations. What electronics are part of the trend now? In the meantime, if you still don't have enough money you can do what I did and check Amazon Daily Deals and Lightning Deals. Buy their daily deal and sell it for full price. Be sure to do your research though. Did it get good reviews? In every Amazon product you will see a button that says "have one to sell?". Click this and you will see an Amazon Rank. Use this to determine if it is worth selling. Generally speaking, any toy or dvd ranked 10,000 and higher should sell.

A Great Wholesale Provider!

Alibaba Express

You've heard me mention Alibaba as a great wholesale provider for almost ANY Product! You get to communicate with business owners and discuss terms such as price, shipping, minimum order quantity.

Aliexpress is essentially the same website as Alibaba but allows you to buy products immediately. Their wholesale prices are a bit higher but you get to buy products right away! You can also see customer reviews on products as well

There is one thing to note though, as with Alibaba, you should never buy name brand products like apple as those companies have exclusive deals with certain sellers. Anything else is a scam.

Despite this, Alibaba and Aliexpress is still the #1 site to go to for wholesale products!

Just Click the image and shop!

I have earned a lot of money from this point making site. Like all point making sites, it takes effort and some money but it has really paid off in the long run.
I have tried many sites but have mostly focused on Express Cash Freebies and have found them to be legitimate! They pay daily and also provide free training videos!

Here are some guidelines once you sign up:

  • Complete offers until you get 1 credit
  • Use your referral link to add more people to your account. The offers they complete will get you commision
  • You don't have to keep any subscriptions or free trials if you don't want to
  • Be quick to cancel these subscriptions or free trials if you decide you don't want them as you will get card charges from them if you don't
Give it a try. I have followed these guidelines and have been getting a stable income!

Alibaba.com! A Great Wholesale Provider!

Photo of Milford Sound in New Zealand!

This is one of the leading sites where you can buy practically anything wholesale!

Here are some guidelines while buying from Alibaba:

  • Do not buy Name Brands like Apple products from Alibaba! They are scams! Not necessarily scams but what they do is take a similar product, let's say a sony xperia z. They will either brand it as sony or not and maybe put a processor that's slower. It could turn out to be very reliable at  cheaper price.
  • Complete your profile so your sellers can see all the information about your business
  • Many of the sellers don't speak 100% English, so try to make your messages as simple as possible.
  • Test buy products from Alibaba. Only buy samples at low quantities to see if their quality is right for you. Also, keep in mind if their quality is good it might not be that way forever. I once bought high quality plushes from Alibaba and then one shipment it was not high quality anymore. Always be ready to find and test buy the same product from a different seller.
Now you might be asking why buy from Alibaba if they might have unreliable products? Well put it this way, if America had the same population as China we would have as much scammers as them, but that also means we would also have as much high quality products as China. Remember, China has the highest population out of all the countries. Imagine if you could find a high quality product and it was at a severely lower price!

Contact your seller with specifications

A good example:

Hello, I am interested in your product!

I will require:

1. Samples
2. Lead Time
3. Payment Terms
4. MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)

Thank you for your time!

Here are some tips for new businesses:

  • When searching for products it is highly advised to narrow your search to "New" and "Shelf Pulls"
  • Do Not buy "Returns" or "Salvage". These items have many cosmetic and functionality issues
